Concerts on The Green in Davidson
The Marshall Team is proud to sponsor Davidson’s Concerts on the Green. The weather was perfect and there was a good crowd this past Sunday for Da Throwback Band. Port City Club to Open August 1 in Cornelius
Lake Norman restauranteur Nick Lyssikatos announced today that he plans to open a waterfront dining and meeting place in August in the former Midtown Sundries-Harborside. Port City Club will be the second lakeside eatery on the south end of Lake Norman; The Rusty Rudder is the other.
The restaurant will have 320 seats indoors and 150 outside. Port City Club will also have space for up to three large meetings at once. Diners can arrive by car or by boat. Port City Club is planning to develop a website so boaters can order from the water.
Lyssikatos said 98 percent of the the food will be freshly made, with dishes ranging from oysters and King Crab to flatbread pizza.
