Charlotte Foreclosures Continue Downward Slide; Lower Than National Average

Charlotte area home foreclosures dipped 1.1 percent in May from a year ago, falling below the national rate, according to CoreLogic. The Charlotte real estate market saw largely positive numbers in January. New listings in the Charlotte region decreased 1.3 percent to 3,838. Pending sales were up 62.3 percent to 2,925.
