Iredell County hosts its 9th annual Independence Day parade. The parade covers a 3 mile route from the Iredell County Fairgrounds to Troutman Elementary School, by way of US Highway 21. The parade starts at 11 a.m.

The Town of Davidson celebrates Independence Day with a downtown parade and concert on the green. Citizens are encouraged to march in the parade dressed in Independence Day attire. Parade marchers are asked to line up at 5:15 p.m. at McEver Field on South Street. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. The New Familiars will perform at 6 p.m.
July 4 – Trump National Golf Club Charlotte
Trump National Golf Club at The Point in Mooresville will host a fireworks show that can be seen from the water. 120 Meeting House Square, Mooresville.
July 4 – Charlotte
The 2013 Novant Health July 4th Spectacular promises to be Charlotte’s largest fireworks display with approximately 20 minutes of displays synced to music. The festival will also feature inflatables, relay races, face-painting and obstacle courses. The Swingin’ Richards will perform music ranging from rock to R&B. THe event takes place 6-10 p.m. at Memorial Stadium. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.310 N. Kings Drive.
