Cornelius Real Estate Analysis for March 2013 – There were 40 single-family homes sold in Cornelius in March. The average sales price of the homes sold was $447,722, the average list price was $476,767 and the average days on market was 121.

When compared to Cornelius real estate sales last March the number of sales are up 25%, the sales price is down 8.5% and the days on market are down from 133 days to 121 days. Following are the March 2012 Cornelius real estate statistics: 32 single-family homes sold, average sales price was $489,325 and average days on market was 133.

The Peninsula was the best selling Cornelius neighborhood in March with 6 homes sold. The average sales price of the homes sold in The Peninsula was $898,667 and the average days on market was 157. This is the second month in a row The Peninsula has been the best selling neighborhood in Cornelius. If you are looking for Cornelius real estate in a waterfront community you should consider The Peninsula. The Peninsula is an amenity rich community located on Lake Norman. Amenities include a Reese Jones golf course, Yacht Club, clubhouse, swim and tennis complex and exercise facility. Caldwell Station and Robbins Park also topped the list of best selling neighborhoods in the Cornelius real estate market. Both neighborhoods had three sales in March. The average sales price of the homes sold in Caldwell Station was $197,733 and the average days on market was 29. The average sales price of the homes sold in Robbins Park was $492,597 and the average days on market was 87.
